Or you could drop 5 skills from that bar get a pair of daggers and use dagger attacks... Stick to your primary for weapons.

Barrage sins are a fine idea. adds alot of survivability and dosnt make your sin rush into mobs before your henchie warriors.

If you wanna keep the pet then clear the atts and try to evenly boost them. Should have 1 more point in Crit Strikes and 1 spare.

If you want to run crit barrage, you're in denial about the fact that you actually wanted to roll a ranger.

So just roll a ranger.

Throw in Way of the Master and you got a pure crit bashing hax of bleeding ownage.
Having a Paragon in your party with GFTE makes your critical even more fun.

barrage sins are a wasteful use of the class. if you dont know the effective, tactical play style of a sin, dont waste your time making it your primary. make a ranger, and spec with splinter for all those "its not spiky enough" people. B/P or barrage in general has been around forever, and taking a sin, raping him of his natural skill of fast paced killing and evasive maneuvering, imo, is sad.

The sin with barrage is a very good option
with the +% in crits you get more energy and thus get to spam
bleeding all over the place is a good thing aswel
take some interupt shots
I agree with the other dude, drop the pet unles in a b/p pet group

When in your own hero/hench group, its great, cause you get to stay in the back calling targets you want dead
instead of running in the fray and hoping your hero hench can keep up with your thirst for DP

Very handi build to have

Barrage is already highly overrated as a skill for primary rangers, as a good ranger can still deal decent damage without it. Barrage is popular because people mistake its ease of use and passive play style for being a reliable dps'r.

Its no better on A/R either.

Barrage is awesome for Barrage/Pet teams, When I am on my ranger I play nothing but B/P runs in Urgoz, GW:EN and TOPK to be honest. Apart from mashing on the barrage button I absolutely fail at playing ranger ^^.

Only in it for the money.

critical hits from sin primary is what makes this so good. Sharpen daggers (next 7 attacks with only 10 in crit strikes...perfect for barrage), added energy from critical eye, the large percentage chance of hitting a critical with each arrow...higher dps than a ranger primary, unless he's got splinter. IMO though...splinter/barrage is boring. It's my primary build for my ranger and while I enjoy seeing the blue flashes and yellow numbers....it's just not as effective as spamming conditions...it opens up further conditions from your team, takes resources away from their monks trying to strip these conditions(RC be damned), it's a good way to add pressure and be a little more effective than just pure damage, armor ignoring or not.

I like it.

oh and...endless energy with a zealous bowstring. Yeah. +2 from crit strikes almost each hit, +1 from critical eye, +1 from zealous. For each arrow that strikes with a critical hit, that's 4 energy...only one is needed and with 10 crit strikes yo uhave 22% greater chance of landing one. Spread that over 7 hits max and you're guaranteed one, and likely to hit more. Pays for barrage in one hit(including regen in time taken to shoot), and the likelihood of more strikes pays for crit eye and sharpen daggers to boot.

A/R Barragers work well, I always feel barrage on a ranger is a waste, rangers are a utility class and so often dont boost their marks over 13, to conserve their health, interupts/conditions are their bag.

Crit barrages can out-dmg a normal barrager for this reason, 12 in marks and high critical strikes, lots of energy gain for each barrage often leaves you gaining energy each time you hit. Barrage sins dont need to use a zealous string with barrage to keep spamming it till kingdom come, they can, therefore invest in an elemental or vamp bowstring.

I think the barrage sin is a great twist on the sin class.

I've been working Crit Barrage off and on between my Dagger builds since the Factions Preview Event, when I was the first boob on these forums to post one. Go look up "Bloody Barrage" as proof that I beat y'all to it. I developed my version (admittedly well-dated by now) to assault control points in AB and do other mob-killer related duties, which it does perfectly fine even now. A/R Barragers do a different job than a typical Assassin, just like R/N Touchers do a different job than a typical Ranger. It is, and remains, a different(ish) use of the Assassin's abilities to bolster an otherwise average skill, and offers Assassin primaries a different sort of twist on PvE tactics. No, it's not a typical Sin build, but then again not every Assassin build is, ne?

Besides, if Assassins were never meant to put down their daggers, why does Way of the Master exist? That skill is pretty custom-designed for BB types to me. And it doesn't help daggers whatsoever, does it?

I rekon splinter barrage will always be better than crit barrage, Spinter>crit tbh.

You should try the assassin/paragon build. Its the same skills except change the bow attacks for spear attack, does good really good damage.
